**Description**
Position Description:
**Position Summary:**
The Warehouse Outbound Supervisor is a member of Reinhart's Warehouse Division team and is primarily responsible for providing supervisory support to the warehouse operation ensuring all customer orders are completed by established deadlines through exceptional leadership. This position provides a great opportunity to gain exposure to a key function at Reinhart and grow with our organization.
**Required Skills and Experience:**
o A high school diploma or GED.
o 2-4 years of relatedexperience.
o Foodservice/ Distribution experience preferred.
o Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment.
o Ability and willingness to work any day of the week, any shift.
o Ability to work in varying temperatures ranging from -20F to 100F.
o Proficient with all Microsoft Office Suites.
o Other projects or duties as assigned.
**Preferred Skills and Experience:**
o College degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
o Food service distribution experience.
**Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:**
o Oversee the direction, operation, and results of the warehouse.
o Daily operations, facility and grounds maintenance, compliance, and development of supervisors and others within the department.
o Serve as a highly motivated leader and quick thinker that possess the ability to interact with a host of different personalities.
o Responsible for budget process, financial reports, and management of key operating performance indicators such as overtime, deliver reliability, and productivity.
o Oversee daily operations effectively and efficiently to ensure excellent service to our customers.
o Excellent communication skills to effectively communicate with staff and business relations.
o Manage the long-range staffing needs of the department as well as assure effective orientation and training for new staff and professional development activities for experienced staff are planned and implemented.
o Ensure that all legal requirements are consistently adhered to including wage and hour and federal, state, and/or local laws pertaining to food safety and sanitation.
o Investigate all accidents or injuries which occur within the warehouse.
o Act as a mentor for all department employees and foster a positive work environment.
o Create staffing schedules to maintain workflow by properly assigning personnel.
o Ability to maintain a high level of employee morale through meetings, team building and counseling.
o All other projects and duties as assigned.
